Rectified Turpentine Lefranc Bourgeois

Turpentine is obtained by distilling the gum from pine trees. It is then refined, which makes it colourless and increases its fluidity. It is mainly used for thinning oil colours, thereby making them easier to use for the basic sketch by fluidifying them without altering their hue. Less volatile than Quick Drying Petroleum, it gives less of a matt appearance to the work.
