Sculptor plasticine set Plastiline

Plastiline is a non-toxic, high-precision professional modelling clay, renowned for its stability, hold, and accuracy of reproduction (within 1/10th of a millimetre). Thanks to its oil-based formula (sulphur-free), Plastiline never dries in the air, allowing it to be remodelled endlessly.

Soft Plastiline is ideal for preliminary modeling work and is easily workable with fingers and basic sculpting tools. Hard Plastiline requires the use of shaping knives, wire loop cutters, chisels, and other sculpting tools to achieve the desired results. The increase in hardness allows for meticulous, detail-oriented work. Different Plastiline types can be used on the same model. It is also possible to smooth the Plastiline with a brush dipped in turpentine.

To soften or even liquefy the Plastiline, it can be heated in an oven or in a water bath until the required softness or state is achieved. When liquefied, Plastiline should be stirred to reincorporate the oils that rise to the surface. After cooling, it regains its original firmness and can be remodelled as needed.

Plastiline is perfect for creating different molds and is fully compatible with plaster, cement, silicones, low-melting alloys, polyurethanes, and resins, making it a versatile tool for professionals and hobbyists alike.
