J.G. Vibert painting medium main quality is that it gives a full bodied consistency to the colours. It is useful for keeping the paint “open” (fresh and workable) for long periods. If one wants to thicken the drying process, it should be used full strength or mixed with J.-G. Vilbert Retouching Varnish, or with Quick Drying Petroleum.
