Oil pad Winsor&Newton

The Winsor&Newton oil paper pads have a canvas textured surface, specifically designed for use with oil colour. Oil pads are made from 100% acid free paper for stability and resistance to ageing. Specially formulated, this paper has the right absorbency for oil applications. The paper is 230gsm and has been embossed to produce a ‘canvas-like’ texture. Popular for sketching outdoors and in the studio, and for artists who prefer using paper to canvas. Designed to withstand heavy applications of oil colour and impasto without soaking, with no need of any priming or preparation.
